We're praising God for:
A confirming prophetic word for Emil from Michael Ratliff in February 1992: "I see a number of names, people you are going to touch, just a word here and there. You are going to touch so many different people, you just won’t have enough time to spend with them. But the Lord will stay with them even though you have to move on. So don’t let it grieve you, because you would rather be more planted, less mobile. But you’ve got to move on from one thing to another as God leads you. There are those who are planted, there are those who move about as sojourners. God’s blessing is upon you for Sharon and Sherry, and for many others. You will have a word to speak over them that will revolutionize their lives and their hearts will become the Lord’s."
We're asking God for:
His guidance during our personal prayer retreat, April 16-18, in Globe, AZ. We have several items on OUR agenda, but we want to hear what HE has to say.

Roadside Report from Emil
We are seeing the beginnings of the harvest! People are pulling up, in tears before they even get out of their cars. Karen and I have been praying for the Holy Spirit to show up with power and fire, because we have nothing otherwise. And we have had three people give their lives to Jesus!
- A man cried as he told us about his 7-month-old son who was born blind. I asked him if he’d ever asked the Lord into his heart. "A couple of times," he said, "but I’m not sure it happened." "Do you want to make sure?" I asked, and he said, "Yes!" So, with our arms around each other, the three of us prayed together for his salvation and then for the baby’s eyes to be healed.
- We prayed for a woman who had driven past and then HAD to come back. She, too, prayed to receive Jesus after we prayed for her marriage.
- A suicidal man stopped and told us with tears streaming down his face and four-letter words streaming out of his mouth that he and his girlfriend had just broken up. He said he didn’t know why he was telling us but he didn’t want to do anything stupid. When I asked him if he’d ever thought of asking the Lord to fill the void in his heart, he said yes, but he guessed he hadn’t prayed long enough or hard enough. Karen and I prayed for God’s peace and for his broken heart to be healed. And as we prayed we saw him transformed before our eyes. His tears stopped, the darkness left him, and even his language changed. When I asked him if he was ready to ask the Lord into his heart, he said yes. He hugged us again and again and said he was so glad we had been there. He left laughing and trusting that God knows best for his life.
These are the divine appointments that God orchestrates and ordains, and we must be there!
Every time we go out we wish we had more time with people. But God knew 12 years ago that we’d be feeling the frustration of having only 5 to 15 minutes with each one. He reminded me of a prophecy given to me in 1992 (see side panel). He is AWESOME!

Intimidating to Exhilarating
By Karen
This was it! My first day out! Emil parked the bike by the road and we set up our chairs. The minute I sat down, I felt TOTALLY exposed! No place to hide! Have you ever tried to look self-confident when you’re feeling exactly the opposite? I felt so "out there," on display, that suddenly every detail of my appearance seemed to matter. How should I sit? What do I do with my hands? Do I look at the cars? Or should I ignore the cars and look at the airplanes overhead instead? The first driver who honked and gave us thumbs up will never know how much he encouraged me!
Then I asked Emil, "Do you think people won’t stop because there are two of us?" He laughed, "I’ve had two other bikers out here with me and that didn’t stop a woman with three kids from stopping!" He took my hand to pray, but my immediate reaction was, "People won’t stop if we’re holding hands!" Emil burst out laughing and said, "It doesn’t matter what we do or how many of us are out here. If people need prayer, they’ll stop!"
At that moment, a truck pulled in and a guy jumped out saying, "Hi! Am I seeing this right? Is this free prayer...like to God?!" And we were off! What a fantastic first day it turned out to be! I was so ecstatic when we left that I sang and praised God at the top of my lungs on the back of the bike all the way home! It is worth whatever discomfort I have to work through to be where God is moving!
