We're praising God for:
A friend, whose healing we've been praying for, just received
updated test results: cancer free!
A $50 Safeway card from an anonymous
giver.
CMA friends who loaned us their Harley
while our bike is in the shop.
Emi's 20-hour-week job with Frontiers
as Interim Facilities Manager; this is a six-month commitment.
We felt God confirmed that this is His provision while our
monthly support is being raised. Emil still has afternoons
free for ministry.
The completion of two more ISOM courses.
All of YOU: good friends and family!
We're asking God for
Our motorcycle to be fixed quickly
and all under warranty.
A great increase in our support base.

- Roadside Ministry Report
By Emil
The enemy has tried to discourage
but the Lord has greatly encouraged. For a week or so, the
only people who seemed to notice my FREE PRAYER sign were
those who yelled obscenities as they passed. One driver even
hung out his window, shaking his first at me and screaming,
"Go home! Go home!" I felt the Lord ask me, "Are
you willing to come out and sit even if no one stops...just
because I've asked you to?" "Yes, Lord!"
One lady who stopped actually said,
"Okay, I stopped...so now, what are you selling or what
are you scamming?" After checking me out for 10 minutes,
she asked for prayer to be delivered from smoking. A day or
so before, a co-worker had responded to her witnessing, "Why
should I listen to you when your God can't even deliver you
from those cigarettes?!" As I prayed for her, a second
car pulled up and patiently waited their turn!
The time spent ministering to individuals
has greatly increased. People have been staying for 30 minutes
to two hours, pouring out their hearts and wanting to know
what God has to say to help them. I loved seeing the look
on one guy's face when I told him that the Lord said to tell
his mother that he was not his dad and he was not "Chuck."
His eyes gre huge. He sat straight up and said, "How
did you know my stepdad's name is Chuck?" I didn't, but
God did!
The roadside ministry has also been
a great evangelistic teaching tool. I have had several friends
sit with me to practice listening to God while praying.

Ordination December 7
By Karen
On Sunday, December 7th, our ordination
ceremony took place at City in the Desert Metro Church in
Tempe. Twenty-five friends and family attended in support,
half from our CMA chapter. Our pastors, Michael and Darci
Niva, invited the CMA-ers to gather around us along with the
elders and other pastors. Pastor Michael conferred upon us
"the protection, the honor, the apostolic mantle of this
house and our connection with Harvest International Ministries
all over the world." Here are a few of the words that
came forth:
We are to look to the horizons; our
feet will be in the snow as well as in the oceans (plural!).
"Don't keep asking about the
vision...just do what I ask you to do each day, and the vision
will come about." This was significant because we have
been feeling that the original vision we got in Colorado this
summer had changed; from going to rallies to going roadside,
and we had been praying, "Please confirm to us again
Your vision."
"Right now your finances are
in the foreground in your prayers and thoughts. But there
will come a time when God will so supply your finances that
you'll even forget to pray for them!" (We had received
this same word from a person in another state a month ago!)
We were greatly encouraged by Pastor
Loron's word: "You're right on time. This is the timing
of the Lord; it's not yeterday; it's not tomorrow; it's today.
You're not early, you're not late, you're right on schedule."
Joshua 1:8-9; Amos 4:11b; Jude 23.
