We're praising God for:
Our 10th wedding anniversary!
Our new webmaster, Karen’s son, Adam, who will finish up the website and make the changes for the move.
The donation by friends of 150 Bibles to give out on the roadside.
The gift of a paid trip in August to Georgia to attend the "For Their Health" conference presented by Dr. Henry Wright. This ministry identifies the spiritual roots of diseases and illnesses resulting in an amazingly high percentage of healing once the root issue is dealt with (www. pleasantvalleychurch.net).
Emil’s unexpected opportunity to speak at the Extreme Prophetic ministry center’s house fellowship in Maricopa one evening. (For info regarding this ministry, see their website at www.extremeprophetic.com.) We were blessed afterwards with a generous love offering and many prophetic words regarding the upcoming move to Idaho.

IDAHO MOVE UPDATE
Our house has not yet sold, so we are still in Queen Creek. When we ask God about His timing (!), we are assured that our buyer will be right on time—not too early, not too late, just perfectly in God’s timing. He told us to prepare the ministry for the move, legally and financially, prepare ourselves for the move, and prepare our house to sell. Finally, we felt He told us to enjoy the time we have left here. That’s the easy part!
We filed our Articles of Incorporation with the State of Idaho and our first Board of Directors meeting was held July 8th in Payson, Arizona. Each director brought to the table input and guidance based on their specific areas of expertise. We thank God for their high level of commitment to Bikers with Boundaries Ministries and, most of all, for their deep love for the Lord and obedience to Him.
We have completed our application for 501(c)(3) non-profit status to be submitted to the IRS upon the actual move of the ministry. Since IRS approval can take from six to twelve months, we applied for and were granted 501(c)(3) non-profit status for the ministry through the group exemption of Gospel Ministers and Churches International. This is a temporary measure that enables us to directly receive all cash and non-cash contributions to the ministry until we receive approval of our own non-profit status.
We secured a post office box in Montpelier in the name of the ministry and also opened ministry accounts at the US Bank branch there, which allows us to do our banking either here or there. Karen’s sister, Colleen, who lives in Montpelier is our registered agent in Idaho and will handle our finances until we’ve made the move. (See the box on reverse for further information regarding contributions.)
Personally, we are meeting with several Mormon-background Christians who are giving us invaluable training and insight into the culture; we recently attended a local The Way of the Master training seminar; and we are finishing up one-on-one ministry and discipleship with several people.
"YOU GOTTA TRY SOME OF THIS!"
Roadside Report from Emil
Two guys pulled up. The passenger was in tears and said he was grieving over his brother’s death. When I questioned him about it, he said his brother had committed suicide 4 years ago! "I’ve lost my joy. I really want my joy back," he cried. He’s been a Christian for a long time. I heard the Lord say that he had taken upon himself the guilt of his brother’s death and he was playing the game of, "If I had been there, if I had done something, if I had seen the signs, if I had been paying attention, my brother would be alive today." He couldn’t stop mourning because he felt he had missed it somehow. The Lord said that he needed to forgive himself and release his brother. Then the Lord also said, "I forgave your brother. You can forgive him, too." He saw that his brother had problems he didn’t even know about and that he had made up his mind that he was going to kill himself. I led him in a prayer. He forgave himself, repented for not allowing himself to be forgiven, and came out of agreement with thinking that he could have done something for his brother. As he asked the Holy Spirit to fill him in all the places where grief had been and to return his joy, he started to laugh a little bit, then a little more, then began laughing hysterically. He was laughing so hard, tears were falling from his face. "I feel like a little kid! What’s happening to me?" He giggled as he reached over and fanned his hand in front of the driver’s face and said, "Here, you gotta try some of this, you gotta try some of this!" I asked his friend, the driver, if he’d ever seen him like this. He said he’d known him all his life and had never seen anything like this. I explained to them both that it was the Holy Spirit, not him! In the midst of the laughing, he said, "I want to get rid of these things, too!" and he picked up a pack of cigarettes off the dash. All of a sudden, he said, "That’s it, that’s it! The Lord said I’m done with them and I don’t need them anymore. Here…" and he handed me the pack out the window. He said, "The Lord just totally took these cigarettes from me! I don’t need them anymore! How can that be? How can I get delivered from cigarettes just from laughing???" The Holy Spirit did an incredible work on his heart and his addiction and set him free!

"LET THE MIRROR REMIND YOU."
A man stopped for prayer for his brother and nephew who are on glass—a heavy duty form of meth. The nephew is awaiting sentencing for transporting it. The man doesn’t want to lose either one of them.
I asked him where Jesus was in his life. He said, "Oh, He’s there…He’s there…I just don’t go to church on Sunday." He showed me a big scar on his neck. He had gotten shot and although they didn’t give him any hope, he made a miraculous recovery. Now he’s on permanent disability and he just sits home and watches TV all day. He and his kids watch church on TV on Sundays. I said, "The Lord wants more from you. You, as the spiritual head of your household, need to have your family in church. You want the Lord in your house 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but when He says, &lsquoCome visit Me in My house one day a week for a couple of hours,&rsquo you don’t want to do it." I said, "Let me ask you this. Do you ever experience the worship?" Well, no," he admitted. I said, "You and your wife and kids need to be there for the worship. You need to feel God’s presence come in. That’s what really changes your life. Your kids need to be there when they give an altar call and the Holy Spirit prompts them and they can go up and receive the Lord. How many times during the message on TV do you get interrupted? You need to focus totally on the message at hand and what the Holy Spirit is doing." He started crying and I pointed at his scar and said, "The Lord said to tell you that the scar you have is a reminder to you that Jesus took your place. Where you should have died, He died instead for you." When I told him that, he began to weep and said, "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, you’re right, you’re right. I need to have my family in church. I don’t know what I was thinking. I need to be in church. I’m going to take my family and we’re going back to church!"
I prayed for him and for his nephew and his brother. He repented and rededicated his life to the Lord. He was excited to realize that God has so much more for his life than spending it in front of the TV.
3 OUT OF 4 CHOOSE JESUS!
She had stopped previously on her way to get a meth fix (see May 2006 article entitled "I’m Not Going There Anymore!") and now she stopped to say that since that day, all her cravings have been gone and she’s had no withdrawals. She has a strength she’s never had before and she trusts the Lord more than she can ever remember! And even though her finances have been messed up due to the drugs, she knows that God will take care of them. She was about to get fired from her job but now her employer is glad she’s staying.
A friend called her the other day and asked her to go pick up some meth for her because she needed to get high to deal with what was going on in her life right then. She told her she couldn’t do that anymore because the Lord had delivered her from it. She asked her friend instead if she could pray for her and they prayed over the phone. She saw that the enemy was trying to get her to go back to the place where she bought her drugs, and she was really happy to find she had the strength to say no.
Then she said, "The best part is that my kids see how much I’ve changed. They said, &lsquoMom, what’s happened to you?&rsquo and I said, &lsquoIt’s Jesus. Jesus has just totally and completely changed my life and everything in it!&rsquo" Her kids said, "Mom, all this is because of Jesus?" and when she said, "Yes," they said, "Wow, if you’ve changed this much by having Jesus in your life, then we want Him, too!" That morning they’d received a flyer in the mail from a church nearby. The flyer read, "If you would like to receive Jesus Christ into your heart and be baptized, come this Sunday!" The kids asked her, "Mom, can we do this?!" So 3 of her 4 kids are going to receive the Lord and be baptized just because they had seen such a change in her!
Her fourth one isn’t ready to accept the Lord although he’s seen a lot of changes in her. He’s 17 with a meth problem but she’s been telling him about the Lord. We prayed for him and then she gave me a hug and said, "Thank you for being out there because this has changed not only me for the rest of my life but my children and family as well." She told me next time she saw me on the road, she’d stop and tell me how everything went at church.
