We're praising God for:
Emil in the ministry full time as
of June 1st. Seven people stopped for prayer that day!

A gift of a Canon MP-390 all-in-one
machine (print, copy, fax, scan)
Roadside rededications.
Many, many people are coming to the
realization that Jesus used to be, and now MUST be, in their
lives. The FREE PRAYER sign is a magnet to them. One man said
he passed by and made a U-turn 3 times; he could not continue
on his way until he had stopped. They come in tears but leave
rejoicing!
Our daily prayer:
Psalm 2:8 Ask of me and I will make
the nations your inheritance and the utmost parts of the earth
your possession.
Acts 4:29 Now Lord
enable your
servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out
your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders
through the name of your holy servant Jesus.

- "Visit your church? Sure!!
Your church is
where?!"
Roadside Report from Emil
A woman got out of the car and said,
"We'll be with you in a minute. He's putting film in
his camera! He's a pastor and he insists on taking a picture
with you by your motorcycle and the FREE PRAYER signs."
A second later, he walked over to me and hugged me real hard
and said that this was the greatest thing and he had to get
a picture to show back home. She took one of us standing on
each side of the bike, hugging, and then another one of us
shaking hands over the bike behind the FREE PRAYER sign. He
said, "Oh, I love this!' He was here visiting Spring
of Life Church in Mesa. He said, "I wanted a pastor to
lay hands on me and to pray for me today for my church. The
enemy is angry and burned our crops because of all the people
who are now with us serving the Lord. Would you pray for me?"
I prayed for God to supply all their needs, for financial
provision and protection. I also felt to pray for their leaky
roof to be fixed, and he said, "Oh yes!" Then he
prayed for our provision and God's anointing. He hugged me
several times, very excitedly, and then said, "You must
come to my church in India! Seriously, will you come?"
I said I would really like to if we could afford it. We exchanged
cards and he said, "Send me an email and let me know
when I can expect you. I really feel you are to come to India."
Lord, if this is your will
- " There's fruit on the
trees!
A guy pulled up in a new truck, grinning
from ear to ear. I couldn't place him. He said, "Emil?
Remember me? You prayed for me back in October." Then
I remembered the second person I'd ever prayed for on the
road! An alcoholic with a $1000/week coke habit. Drove a broken-down
beat-up truck. He had just lost his wife to prostitution,
the state had taken his kids. His house got repossessed. A
pale skeleton of a man, who had received Jesus on the roadside
that day. I now wholeheartedly agreed with him when he said,
"Amazing what Jesus can do in your life!" He was
tan, filled out, laughing and happy, clean and sober. He had
bought a house and had his kids back. He is active in a church
and was just
baptized. "I wish I hadn't had to go through all that
to find Jesus. No...I'm glad I went through it, because now
I know how much I have in Jesus!" And his parting words
were, "Boy, I sure am thankful that you were on the road
that day!" So am I! Thank YOU, Lord!
- " Did I give you my card?
"Why do you think he sits on
the side of the road, praying for people?" she asked
her boyfriend. He said, "Well, he prayed for me and my
brother about two months ago. Let's go back and you can ask
him!" That's how this divine appointment came about.
We talked about accepting Jesus into your heart. Years ago
reading the Bible had terrified her. I answered her questions,
gave her my card and a New Testament, and told her to call
me with any questions as she read it. She called the next
day. After an hour explaining the passages that scared her,
we prayed and she received the Lord. She told me that five
to six hours after they saw me, she said to her boyfriend,
"You planted that guy on the side of the road and you
told him everything about me, didn't you? Everything he said
was exactly my life. No one else could know every detail like
that." I assured her, "It's not me. Jesus told me
things to prove to you that He is real." The enemy's
torment in her life had gotten so bad a week ago that she
sat in her house and decided to go find a witch doctor. She
felt her life was cursed, and she wanted to be set free. "And
a couple of days later, we ran into you and everything in
my life is changed! "
- Prayer Retreat
We found a wonderful bed and breakfast
in Globe, AZ that was perfect for our prayer retreat in April.
See it at www.noftsgerhillinn.com.
Once an elementary school, the classrooms are now guest rooms-huge,
with a sitting area, fireplace, high ceilings with tall windows
and ceiling fans. The cool breeze blew in through our open
windows and the room was quiet, comfortable and peaceful.
In fact, we found ourselves napping at every opportunity!
This alarmed us because we didn't want to miss what God had
for us.
We learned, however, that God's agenda
that weekend was rest. And it was lovely. We waited on Him,
soaked up His presence, and came away refreshed. He impressed
upon us obedience...to go when and where He tells us...and
then to come back to Him for rest. His word to us for the
ministry was: "Give them ME." Simple, isn't it?...just
"Give them ME."
- Sometimes It's Hard
By Emil
107 degrees. No one stops. The people
in the last couple of cars that go by give me the finger and
yell dirty names. Sometimes it's hard sitting on the side
of the road. And I ask, "Lord, am I really making a difference
out here?"
The next day a car pulls up and an
entire family-parents and three kids-want prayer to rededicate
their lives to the Lord. As we stand on the roadside, holding
hands in a circle, praying... "Yes!" is the only
answer that comes to my mind. "Yes! Thank You, Jesus!"

- 3-Minute Sermons
By Karen
Emil loves to preach. Most of you
know that. He started young-a five-year-old, preaching in
his back yard in Chicago! Many times over the past nine months,
I've pondered over this ministry not having a place for him
to preach-at least right now. Then one day on the roadside,
God opened my eyes.
A man stopped for prayer who had
just lost his job that very day and needed to find another
one fast. He didn't want his family to be homeless or not
have anything to eat. We prayed with him and the Lord told
Emil to let him know that it wasn't up to him to make it happen.
All he had to do was trust in the Lord. He listened intently
as Emil exhorted him, "Above everything, trust God."
I saw the relief on his face and sense the hope in his heart
as he shook Emil's hand and said quietly and sincerely, "That
was the best 3-minute sermon I've heard in a long time. Thank
you."
Three-minute sermons! God opened
my eyes to the opportunities He gives Emil on a daily basis
to preach to His lost kids who don't presently hang out in
church buildings. Not only are the opportunities many; they're
varied! The topics are endless: Salvation. Forgiveness. Truth.
Freedom. Trust. Faith. Parenting. Marriage. Guilt. Shame.
Confrontation. Love. Healing. The Bible. Hearing God. Prayer.
The Cross. The Resurrection. Death. Hell. Heaven. Fear. Anger.
Offense. Miracles. Restoration. And always, Jesus.
The list goes on and on. Each person
who stops has a different need, a different situation, is
in a different place with God. And God has a message, a word
for each one that He has called to stop. And thankfully, He
has a faithful vessel who is willing to be vulnerable, to
sit out, usually by himself, incurring the wrath of some drivers,
receiving the encouragement of others, in order that the person
or persons God has lined up that day will hear His message-in
the form of a 3-minute sermon!
- A Pastor's Return
By Emil
I saw two spirits standing behind
Clarence. They were holding hands. One had "Alcoholism"
written across him and the other had "Diabetes."
The Lord said, "They're connected. When he renounces
alcoholism, the diabetes must go."
Clarence, an ex-pastor who had lost
everything to alcoholism and several toes to diabetes, had
never asked Jesus into his heart. I asked him if he'd like
to pray to renounce alcoholism and to receive Jesus. He lifted
his hands up and as we prayed, the spirits disappeared. I
then asked if he wanted to be filled with Holy Spirit. Again
he said "Yes." He swayed back and forth as I prayed
and the smell of alcohol was gone. Then he hugged me and said,
"Now I understand why I was here today."
He asked what time it was when he
was leaving, and God had an awesome final word for him: "Give
him your watch and tell him it's time to return to Me. I want
him to start that church again. I have great things to do
through him and people will see My anointing upon him."
- "Explain salvation, Jesus."
He spoke and I wrote...Emil
Many people have a misconception
that salvation is their safety net when they die. Yes, it
does give us the right to heaven-we become children of God,
our sins are forgiven, by His stripes we are healed. But it
is so much more!
Salvation is also the right to call
upon the Lord and know that He will answer you. It is the
right to have a relationship, a deep heartfelt mind-altering
relationship, with Jesus. Salvation gives you the right to
command demons to stop, give back, come out, and be bound
in His name. Salvation gives you the right to accept and become
empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Salvation is love, peace, security, safety, healing, authority,
son-ship, and the gift of interpretation and understanding.
Salvation gives you the right to come into the presence of
the Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth. It gives
you the right to worship God, ask of Him, know Him, and to
understand Him. Salvation gives you a firsthand look into
the spiritual realm. It opens your eyes to see, your ears
to hear, your heart to feel that which others cannot. Salvation
is the key to unlock things you've never understood. It opens
up God's Word, the Bible, to help you understand what you
read and to believe that which you have not seen. Salvation
unleashes faith to operate in your life to know that which
you have not known. Salvation gives you the right to stand
and not get weary, to accept trials even though you don't
like them. It takes you to places where you never before would
have agreed to go and moves you to do things the world would
call foolish.
Salvation does not kick in at death-it's
a daily reminder of what is and what is yet to come. Salvation
is not just insurance. It's assurance of all the promises
of God throughout the entire Bible.
Walk daily in your salvation. It's
a right given by God. Salvation is a decision. Salvation is
a lifestyle.
