We're praising God for:
Answered prayer. Trent pulled up
with a huge grin on his face and said, "I've been looking
for you! Remember you prayed in March for God to deliver my
dad from prison and from alcohol? I just wanted to find you
to give you a praise report!" He waved toward the truck
and an older man jumped out. "I'd like you to meet my
dad! HE's the praise report!" Trent said the day after
we prayed, the judge decided to give his dad one more chance
and all charges were dropped against him. His dad said, "When
they told me that, I knew that God had set me free because
I was definitely going to jail for 6-10 years. I couldn't
deny what God had done. I sold everything and moved out here
to Arizona." Trent said, "I have a relationship
with my father, my kids have a grandfather they never knew.
My dad is now sober, on fire for God, and going to church
with me!" His dad shook my hand and said, "I had
to find the man who prayed for me to say thank you. Only God
could have done this for me."

group in Whitefish, Montana.
Our daily prayer:
Ask of me and I will make the nations
your inheritance and the utmost parts of the earth your possession
(Ps 2:8). Now Lord
enable your servants to speak your
word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and
perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your
holy servant Jesus (Acts 4:29)

Roadside Report from Emil
" A hot temper on a hot day.
Kim got out, opened the passenger door and pulled her husband
out of the car by his shirt. She pointed at me and shouted
at him, "Before God and this man, I'm going to tell you
why I hate you so much!" My first prayer came fast! "Lord,
I need You here or I'm really in trouble!!" It was 108º
that day and they stayed for almost three hours, yelling,
arguing, cursing each other. And throughout, the Lord gave
me words for each of them. Finally, He said, "Tell them
they've been looking at each other to be their savior, not
Me. And tell her that the incident that happened with her
father when she was a child is not to be blamed on her husband."
She began to cry.
The Lord told me, "Look at her
eyes. She has no whites in them. They're bright red. That's
a spirit of rage. Ask her if she'd like to renounce it."
As we were about to pray, a car pulled up and a woman yelled,
`Wait! Wait!" She ran over, "I've seen you out here
all these months and I've dreamed of praying for someone on
the side of the road. Would that be okay?" "Thank
you, Jesus!" I heard Kim say, "I just said, Jesus
I wish a lady could be here to pray for me!" We prayed
and the Lord said, "Now command it to go." When
I did, Kim jumped straight up and a white figure lifted out
of her and went up into the air. She opened her eyes and they
were white. The woman praying with us also saw the figure
come out and said, "This is truly awesome! Thank You,
Lord!"
Kim told me afterwards, "I cried
out to God today and said if You don't do something, I'm divorcing
him! He told me to take my husband down this road, there was
a man there that had the answers to save my marriage."
She emailed us later, "I finally came to realize that
it isn't about my husband. It's been about me hiding behind
my anger all these years."
- He asked for safety but God
gave eternal security
The stickers on his Harley read,
"Touch this *$%)@ bike and die!" and worse. "I
saw your signs and thought, what the heck, maybe I should
get prayer to make it through the desert ok tomorrow."
He was a big guy that made me look small. Feeling a little
intimidated, I asked the Lord what He wanted to say. "Ask
him where I am in his life." He said, "Well, I think
I feel Him inside." I said, "Yes, but feelings don't
get you into heaven. Only accepting Jesus as your own will
guarantee you a spot in heaven." God had definitely been
drawing this guy because he pulled out an old shabby copy
of Our Daily Bread daily devotional to show me. "I read
this once in a while." "That's awesome," I
said, "but only accepting Jesus gets you into heaven.
If you died on the highway this weekend, would you like to
know that you're going to heaven instead of finding out the
hard way and going to hell? Jesus wants you to know for sure.
That's why He sent me out here today. He said there's someone
I want you to talk to today-and you're here!" After a
moment he said, "Yes, I do want to know for sure."
We prayed and he wept uncontrollably. I said, "Your name
is now being written in the book of life by Jesus Himself."
He really smiled at that and then we anointed his bike with
oil and dedicated it to Jesus. I said, "Now, if you're
ever asked where you're going when you die." and he YELLED
out, "I'm going to heaven!"
- Oh yeah! Take extra water!
I had been out for two hours and
it was 112º as I rode home. I heard, "Eat lunch,
change your clothes, and set up on Rittenhouse at 2:00."
I said, "Lord, it's really hot out today!" He said,
"Oh yes, take extra water." At 2:45 a car pulled
up and a woman got out and said, "I have never driven
this road before but I kept feeling that I should take Rittenhouse.
I saw your sign so I had to stop." She continued, "I'm
Mormon and have been for 17 years. Last week in church, I
realized that I haven't learned anything new in those 17 years.
I think I would like to become a Christian." I asked,
"What's stopping you?" "I have a lot of questions,"
she said and for the next hour and 15 minutes she asked about
the Bible and Jesus, and the Lord kept giving me the answers.
At the end of that time, she said she was ready to pray and
ask Jesus into her heart. Afterwards, she said, "Thank
you for coming out here for me today. It's so hot, but once
I felt the Lord around you, I knew I could not leave. I HAD
to stay!"
Encouragements
Sitting on the side of the road and
feeling empty, I asked, "Lord, bring your anointing and
fill me." Immediately , a baby dove crash landed at my
feet and skidded to a stop! He looked at me, walked over and
sat down, leaned against my leg and went to sleep! When a truck
pulled up, I said to the dove, "You don't have to leave."
He looked up at me, got up, walked over to the next chair
and sat down in its shadow. As soon as I sat back down, he
came and leaned against my keg again. He stayed about 20 minutes
total. I asked the Lord if this was the Holy Spirit "descending
like a dove" but got no reply! A moment later the dove
chirped and flew away. Instantly I felt overwhelmed with God's
presence.
A woman stopped to say, "I've noticed you're on this
road every Friday and now I look forward all week to Friday
just so I can see you out here. It blesses me so much, because
it reminds me that God really hasn't forgotten the lost."
I saw you out here yesterday and
said next time I see him, I'll stop. When I drove past you
today, I heard 'You promised that if you saw him again, you'd
stop. Now go back.'" This young guy thought he was saved
but within 10 minutes realized he wasn't and then gave his
heart to the Lord!
Are you the same guy that was on
Ironwood last Friday? I'd like to tell you what happened."
She continued, "For the last 6 months my spiritual life
has been dry. When I saw you on the side of the road, it was
like I drove right into the Holy Spirit. I felt like I got
totally watered. I want to tell you that even though you didn't
personally pray for me, God met me right at that spot and
the Holy Spirit changed my life."

- Our Cornerstone
By Karen
I sat down to journal a few weeks
ago and intended to write, "Lord, thank You for loving
us so much and for giving us this ministry of sitting on the
roadside for people you are drawing." Instead, this came
out of my pen, "Lord, thank You for Your love. So great
is Your love that You will sit on the side of a country road
to make Yourself available to those You're drawing."
I did a double take and thought, "That's funny; that's
not what I meant to say!"
But the truth dawned on me. It's NOT Him sending US out for
a divine appointment People aren't stopping to meet US. Unknown
to them, they are coming to meet with HIM. He scheduled it.
He wants to talk with them. He wants to answer their questions.
He wants to show them how much He loves them. It's not OUR
divine appointment, it's HIS.
He has certain places to go and certain things to do. And
I am happy to be His chauffeur. "Lord, where and what
time is your appointment today so I can get You get there
in time." It may be on the road, it may be in a store,
it may be on the phone. That takes a lot of pressure off of
me, because all I have to do is be obedient to do what He
tells me. What happens then is in His hands. Of course, I
need to listen for His voice before I can be obedient.
That means that the cornerstone of this FREE PRAYER ministry
is not praying for people. The very basic cornerstone is hearing
God. The vision God laid out for the ministry is, "Tell
them what I want them to know. It may have nothing to do with
what they stop for." Our flesh may cry out to debate
with them or plead with them. But one word or one sentence
coming directly from HIS heart cuts through to their hearts
and convinces them of the reality of God and of His love for
them much faster than our feeble words ever could.
Where do You want to go, God?
What do You want to say?
- "Lord, why a motorcycle?"
I asked.
By Emil
"Because if you had a car, a
woman alone with children would not stop because she couldn't
see if there was someone hiding in the car," the Lord
answered. "With a motorcycle, you are totally transparent
to everyone who passes by so they aren't afraid to stop."
- BWB's First Anniversary!
By Emil and Karen
Bikers with Boundaries Ministries
is one year old September 12th. It's been quite a year! We've
laughed and cried and constantly marveled at the things God
has done!
The first week: When we first caught
God's vision of being "out there" on the side of
the road, Emil was worried, "Lord, what if someone says,
'My husband just died...why?' I wouldn't know what to say."
The Lord agreed, "You're right! You wouldn't. But I do."
Sure enough, the very first week brought a couple whose story
had been on the news the night before. Their young son had
accidentally killed his best friend in a horrible tragedy
for both families. Emil was able to speak the words God wanted
to say and they desperately needed to hear: "It's not
your fault."
Got their blessing: "The first
day the police stopped, so did my heart!" says Emil.
He explained to them what he was doing and they shook his
hand several times and thanked him for being out there! Now
the police and sheriff deputies don't just honk and wave!
Even when he's praying with people, they fleetingly flash
their lights and flip on their sirens AND honk and wave, emphatically
making a statement that he has their approval.
Website up and running: Although
still under construction, we're at www.bwbministries.com.
Pay us a visit!
Fundraising update: Our monthly support
is at 30%, up 14% from our last update.
Looking ahead: We are praying for
God's timing for Karen to leave her job with Frontiers. She
felt God told her during worship last month that He has called
her, too, to the ministry fulltime. We are extremely excited
about this and want to not lag behind or run ahead of God's
timing.
We are going to Big Bear Lake, CA, for a Mountain Top Minister's
Conference with Gill Ministries September 14th through 17th.
There are no scheduled speakers and no agenda other than worship
and letting the Holy Spirit move as He desires. Please pray
that we will receive all that He has for us there, including
further anointing and direction for the ministry.
Our thanks: We want to say a special thank you to all who
have invested in this ministry because without you, none of
what we've reported over these months would have been possible.
Thanks for a great year!
