Praise reports received from Idaho:
"We’re so thankful for you! We are continually encouraged and uplifted to experience first hand the ministry you do and we LOVED having REAL church! The sermon was so good, Emil, and I absolutely felt the Spirit come in!"
"I haven’t felt the Holy Spirit’s presence since we moved here seven years ago. But I felt Him the moment I came into the basement for church Sunday morning."
"Thank you for setting me free from guilt and lack of confidence in myself. It’s been a huge burden I’ve carried for a very long time. I loved hearing that my mother-in-law was sent to me by God; she was the best mother-in-law I could have ever dreamed of—she had such a strong understanding of God’s word and a strong faith."

TESTING THE WATERS IN IDAHO!
We spent a fantastic week in Idaho in August! We arrived in Montpelier on a Monday afternoon, in time to attend the monthly all-church potluck that evening. Our ministry began there and ended the following Sunday when we reluctantly left town! We’re putting out this special Idaho edition of the newsletter as one big praise report!
We set up on the roadside, at Milepost 20 of Emigration Pass, the spot we felt the Lord had showed us when we there in February. It definitely felt funny setting up in a brand new place but sure enough, people honked and waved and some stopped, including a die-hard biker!
Emil baptized our 10-year-old nephew Saturday afternoon and had communion following for all the family. Some had tears in their eyes because they hadn’t had the opportunity to take communion for over a year and a half.
Karen’s sister and brother-in-law opened their house Sunday morning so that we could "have church!" Fourteen people came for the service that started at 8 a.m. A Mormon woman even came and stayed afterwards to talk to Emil for about 15 minutes. We are excited that the Christians we met Sunday morning are eager to learn how to reach out to the community with Jesus.
All in all, we ministered to thirteen people, had two salvations, and cast out about 20 demons! We also experienced two miraculous healings, the first person was healed an hour and a half after we got there and the second person an hour and a half before we left! God’s presence and power were AWESOME!
Thank you for your prayers and support. We came home with absolute confirmation that Montpelier is where God is calling us and that we will be there in His perfect timing!
"THE LORD WOKE ME LAST NIGHT..."
Roadside Report from Emil
His wife asked us to pray for her husband who had prostate cancer and high blood sugar. We asked the Lord what He wanted to say to him. Immediately I saw a whirlwind going around him and it said Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! all the way around it. So I asked him, "What do you feel guilty about?" He said, "Well, I don’t know, a few things." I told him what I was seeing and then I said, "When you look at people around you, you see Not guilty! on each one but every time you look at yourself, you see Guilty! The Lord says there are things you’ve done in your past that you feel you shouldn’t be forgiven for and every time you look in the mirror, that’s what you see. I know you’ve even told people about God’s forgiveness but when it comes to you, you can’t forgive yourself." He agreed and said that was true and his wife jumped up and down and pumped her arms, YES! I explained to him that when we can’t receive God’s forgiveness, we feel that God is disappointed in us. Then we go a step further and set ourselves above God. I told him that he needed to repent for that. The Lord said to have him come out of agreement with fear, guilt, shame, and condemnation and said that they were blocking his healing. He said he really believed that—he prayed to come out of agreement with these things and relinquish them and then I felt the Lord said, "Have him open up his hands to receive My forgiveness." When he did, he cried and said, "I really felt something happen." Then the Lord said, "Now, pray for his healing." We prayed that the fire of the Holy Spirit would flow through him and through his veins and totally consume anything that wasn’t of the Lord. When he left, he said, "The Lord woke me up last night and told me I needed to come here tonight, that there would be someone here who would pray with me and I would be healed. I know that’s you and that’s why we’re here—we live an hour and a half away." His wife called a couple of days later and said that he fell into a deep sleep that night, got an incredible fever, thrashed around in bed and prayed in tongues in his sleep all night long. When he woke up in the morning, the fever and all his cancer symptoms were gone! We continue to receive excellent reports about him!

BIKER LEAVES A CHRISTIAN!
The guy turned off his motorcycle and lounged back on the seat like he planned on staying awhile. Nodding toward our banner, he asked almost mockingly, "How free is it?" "Totally," I replied and he laughed. We talked about motorcycles for a few minutes while I asked the Lord what He wanted to say to him. The Lord said, "Ask him where I am in his life." "I was raised LDS," he began. "But I don’t believe in Jesus. I don’t believe in God. I don’t believe in any of this @!#%." He talked about how he feels he can never be good enough even though he’s a good person. Every other word out of his mouth was the F word, and that was his attitude towards everyone and everything.
He just didn’t seem like he cared much—he did everything he could to push my buttons for nearly two hours. He asked, "How do I know that you believe what you say?" and I said, "If I didn’t believe it, I’d be the biggest hypocrite if I was out here, sitting on the side of the road with these banners that have the cross on them and didn’t believe what we’re saying." He said, "Yeah, I was gonna ask you about that!" Later he told me he purposely pushed me to see if I was real or not.
Throughout the conversation, I would say, "Well, I can only tell you the truth and if you don’t believe it, that’s up to you." After an hour, I didn’t see any change in his attitude so I started to cut him loose but he stopped me, "Hey, I’m still here, aren’t I? I’m still listening." Since the Holy Spirit was working on him, we went on talking and answering all the questions he had. He just didn’t see his need for a Savior. His grandfather died last year and told him that the thing that will always get him through life is to never stop praying. So now he prays to his grandfather. I told him that his grandfather couldn’t save him – he said, "That’s fine. I don’t need anyone to save me. When I die, it’s over." I told him that when he dies, whether he believes it or not, he’s going one place or the other and there are no other choices. That place depends on who he serves here on earth. I explained to him about heaven and hell, grace, mercy, and the Savior that died for his sins.
After an hour and a half, it seemed to begin to sink in. We noticed that the F word slipped in now only once every 10 minutes. Finally, out of the blue, he said, "Ok, I’m ready," and I asked, "Ready for what?" To our surprise, he said, "You convinced me. I was wrong, and I want to ask Jesus into my heart." I told him unless he was sincere and really wanted Jesus with all his heart, it didn’t count. He said "Yeah, I realize that. I’m serious. I really do want to do this."
He asked the Lord to come into his heart and repented for his sins. He had tears in his eyes as we prayed for the Lord to cleanse him and for the Holy Spirit to fill him. We prayed a blessing over him, his family, and his motorcycle. When we finished, he said, "That was the best prayer I’ve ever heard. I just have to sit here awhile and let it sink in." And he did. He was genuine about that. When he rode off, the F word was gone and he was a totally different guy.
PAIN IN HER BODY WAS FROM HER HEART
She came to the Sunday morning service. Even though she was only in her mid-30s, she barely made it down the stairs. She was hunched over from the pain in her body. Asking for prayer afterwards, she told me she had arthritis throughout her entire body—from her head to her heels. I asked the Lord what He wanted to say, and He said, "Ask her who hurt her so badly." It took her a few minutes but then she said "Well, maybe my mom." Her mother hated her from the time she was a little girl. Her mom said all kinds of hurtful things to her and was jealous of all the time she got to spend helping her father tend their sheep. Even to the day she died, her mom made sure she knew how much she hated her. Others, too, had hurt her including her ex-husband and her son. She became addicted to pain medication and had been carrying guilt about that for many years on top of the hurt.
The Lord said to her, "You have so much pain in your heart, you can’t stuff it anymore. Instead, the pain has spilled out all through your body because you’ve tried so hard not to deal with it. It’s time to deal with it." I then said, "The Lord told me that you made vows like 'I will never be like my mom,' and 'I will never hurt my family like she hurt me.'" She said, "Oh definitely." I explained that when she did that, she was actually saying to the Lord, "You can’t protect me from this happening so I will have to," and she took control of her life from that moment on. The enemy then has a right to come in. He takes the vows and judgments and uses them against her and she becomes the thing she never wanted to become. She would eventually begin to inflict upon the people around her the same pain she had endured from her mom. She said the other day she looked in the mirror and said, "Oh my gosh, I’ve become my mom," and recognized in herself the same mannerisms and characteristics; it really scared her. When I told her she could come out of agreement with it and we could get rid of it, she asked, "Can we do it right now?" I led her through a prayer forgiving her mom, her son and ex-husband and breaking all the words they had spoken against her.
Once that was done, the Lord said, "Look in her eyes. The spirit of addiction is there and also a spirit of withdrawal." I said to her, "Do you realize that addiction is a demon?" She said, "I totally believe that. It just continuously comes up and I have no control over it." I told her I could see it in her eyes; her pupils had become like pinheads and a white murky substance had covered up the color of her eyes. I also explained that withdrawals are a demon and it’s the voice that comes to her and says, "You need this. You have to have it. You can’t get rid of it. You can’t do anything about it, so you might as well just start up with it again." She said she’d tried going cold turkey a couple of times and that voice was so strong she had to go back to it. "I am so ready to be rid of them!" We cast them out.
Then I said, "Well, now there’s nothing’s preventing your healing, let’s pray for it." I put my hand on her head and invited the Holy Spirit to fill her up, for the fire of the Holy Spirit to flow through her veins and burn up anything that was not of God. My hand got so hot that I asked her if she felt anything. She said an incredible heat was going down from her head, around her neck, through her back, came around the front around her chest and stomach and around her hips. She said everywhere the heat touched, all the pain left. I had her lift her hands and say, "Lord, I want all You have for me," and once she prayed that, the heat kept going into her thighs. Then she said, "Oh, the heat’s going into my knees right now, and all the pain is leaving." When the heat had gone through her entire body, she was totally pain free. She stood up with ease and said, "Oh my gosh, I’ve never not had any pain!" She began to cry and said, "I can’t believe I’m healed! Thank You, Lord!"
She be-bopped up the stairs and I’m told she flung her leg over the back seat of a friend’s motorcycle, ready to ride with him to breakfast! She and her husband have a bike but she hadn’t been able to ride in years. When I came outside, I could not believe this woman bouncing around on the back of a motorcycle, laughing and waving to me, was the same woman who an hour and a half earlier had barely made it down the stairs for church!
