We're praising God for:
The generous donation of a new computer.
We'll now be able to do our newsletter, with all the necessary
programs, on one computer instead of two. This is an answer
to a longstanding prayer!
The donation of a 3' x 7' bright
orange free-standing banner by Group Imaging in Mesa. This
will make us much more visible and will eliminate damage to
the motorcycle from the clamps that hold our present poster-board
signs.
Our new logo which came out of praying
for a vision of the banner. God gave us a vision of the motorcycle
as the crossbar. The Lord says that this represents Him placing
our motorcycle at the crossroads so we can lead people to
the cross.
We're asking God for:
Continued protection on the road.
Divine health.
Luke 3:3 He went into all the country...
preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
As it is written in the book...of Isaiah the prophet: "A
voice of one calling in the desert, 'Prepare the way for the
Lord, make straight paths for him. Every valley shall be filled
in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall
become straight, the rough ways smooth. And all mankind shall
see God's salvation.'"

A CHRISTIAN. I was a Christian to whom God said, "You

BWB'S SECOND ANNIVERSARY
Thank you to all who have invested in us, financially and
in intercession, these two years. Without you, this ministry
would not be happening! And most of all, thank You, Jesus,
for showing up time after time-only YOU hold the words of
life!
What stands out as we celebrate?
We're seeing fruit! There have been many days when we sat
out in the hot summer sun and no one stopped. But now there
are people stopping and saying, "I've seen you out here
for two years and now I need you." That's exciting!
Wow! What an anniversary gift! Thanks
to Jim Bader, our website it getting a major facelift and
should be completed by the end of September! Check us out
again at:

- "I'VE BEEN DRIVING AROUND
LOOKING FOR YOU!"
She jumped out of her car saying, "I've been driving
around looking for you! I was getting ready to go to the hospital
when I heard the Lord say, 'Go find the people on the side
of the road and have them pray for your daughter.' I had gone
by all your usual spots and I was on my way to the last road
I know you sit on and here you are!" She asked if we
would pray for her daughter, and we said, "Sure!"
She led us to her car where we met her twin 3-year-old daughters.
The one hadn't eaten for two weeks,
and the doctors were worried about her and had decided to
get her in right away to test for meningitis. The other one
had a continual fever from teething.
I went to anoint them with oil and
I heard the Lord say, "Put the oil on your fingers and
then shake their hands so they won't be afraid." I did
and I saw that the one was pale and weak; her hands were limp.
As I began to pray, "Jesus,..." she opened her eyes
wide, put her head back on the seat, and smiled from ear-to-ear,
like she was in love! Her mother said, "She just loves
Jesus! She talks to Him all the time!" After we prayed
for both of them, the mom hugged us, thanked us and left.
We received an email within a few
days that read, "After we saw you guys, we went home
and 30 minutes later both girls were doing great. The one
started to eat and drink water again. The other's fever broke
and you could never tell either of them had been sick! I just
want to thank you guys! Next time I see you I will definitely
stop to say hello!"
- "I'M NOT LAUGHING ANY MORE!"
He got out of his car and just stared at the sign. When I
introduced myself, he started crying. "I need to ask
you to forgive me. I've been seeing you out here for 2 years.
And every time I go by, I've laughed at you and ridiculed
you. But I'm not laughing anymore. My life is totally messed
up, and I'm here because I need you." He said again,
"Will you forgive me?" I said, "Don't worry
about it. We realized a long time ago that when people have
a problem with us out here they have a problem with God."
He said, "Yeah, I can see that."
He had a seat and stayed for nearly 3 hours. His wife had
thrown him out. He was a new Christian. The Lord said, "He
refuses to forgive himself." When I told him this, he
agreed, "How can I forgive myself for the things I've
done to my wife over the last 10 years?" I said, "When
you gave your life to the Lord three weeks ago, you asked
Him to forgive you of your sins. Well, the Lord says if you
can't forgive yourself, you can't receive His forgiveness.
So basically you're saying, 'Well, Lord, you died to forgive
everyone else of their sins but mine's too big so you can't
forgive me.'" He said, "You know, I've never thought
of it that way, but I've tried to change in the past and I
always wind up back with ME." I said, "The Bible
says that when you come to Jesus, you're a new creation. Before
you were trying to change on your own but now you've got Jesus
living inside of you." We prayed with him to forgive
himself. He then broke a vow he made when he was young that
he would never be like his parents who fought all the time.
I told him that since he forgave himself and repented for
not accepting forgiveness, God's hand was now released to
work in his life and to restore his marriage; that he didn't
have to make it work-God would do it for him as he follows
the Lord. He laughed and said gratefully, "I feel so
much better and I feel so much lighter."
His cell phone rang right then and
he came back crying. "You're not going to believe this,
but God has done something since I've been sitting here praying
with you. My wife just suggested that we have a date night
so we could just sit and talk so I'm taking her to her favorite
restaurant." He hugged me and said, "I'll never
forget this-next time I see you, I'll stop and tell you how
things in my life have changed!"
- HE TOOK ON HIS MOTHER'S DISEASE.
He had been on dialysis for six years. He believes God is
going to heal him but he gets tired of waiting. When we prayed
for him, I got a picture of stress between him and his mom.
I asked him about it. He said she had died of kidney failure
and that's when he got it. He had been really stressed about
her having it. His pattern is to run from things and to hide
in his work. The day she died, God told him to go to the hospital
but he told God he had to go to work. He ended up going to
the hospital an hour later but she was gone. I asked if he'd
ever forgiven himself, and he said no-he still feels guilty.
I felt the Lord say that's why he took on his mom's disease
at her death and that if he repented and came out of agreement,
the obstacle to his healing would be gone. He agreed and repented
for not obeying God to go to the hospital, then for not forgiving
himself. He came out of agreement with the spirit of unforgiveness
and filled that place with the Holy Spirit. When we prayed
for his healing, he said he felt intense heat inside his body
and something he described as a surge of power. "That's
the Holy Spirit," we explained!

- "IT'S TIME TO COME HOME."
A woman and a young girl got out of the truck and ran across
the street to us. The woman said, "I love what you're
doing out here! I love your signs! I know God sent you here
for me. I'm a backslidden Christian and it's time to come
home."
The minute she saw our signs as she
was driving by, she started crying. She heard the Lord say,
"It's time to come home." So she turned the truck
around and came back.
She had been in Teen Challenge but had run away and fallen
into prostitution and drugs. She has two kids and her husband
is having an affair and lives in another state. She and her
sister live together with their kids. "Everything's a
mess," she said. The young girl with her was her 11-year-old
niece and a strong Christian. She was crying with joy that
we were out here for her. I told her that God had us out here
at this particular time because there was someone He wanted
to talk to.
As we prayed, she wept and wept until
the front of her blouse was soaked with tears and kept saying,
"Thank you so much for being here for me." She repented
for leaving God, rededicated her life to Him and received
the Holy Spirit. We prayed for her mind to be renewed and
that the power of all thoughts that keep her away from God
would be broken. She said, "Oh yes, yes!" We then
prayed for her husband, that God would reveal Himself to him
also.
I then felt that the Lord said to
tell her niece that He has had a strong calling on her life,
from an early age, to keep her family pointed toward Him.
I told her that He didn't want her to get discouraged when
people say, "You don't know anything-you're too young."
Her head hung down and she kept nodding "yes." The
Lord said to tell her that she doesn't have a child's Holy
Spirit, that the same Holy Spirit lives in her that lives
in an 80-year old man. "Really?" Her head came up
and a smile lit up her face and we knew that God had quickened
it straight to her heart! I told her that God gives her a
lot of wisdom and then gave her the scripture, "If you
abide in me and My words abide in you, ask whatever you will
and it shall be done for you." The Lord said, "Tell
her she has powerful prayers and that her aunt is standing
here today because of all her prayers for her." They
both said, "Yes," and hugged each other.
They hugged us then and left waving and calling out, "God
bless you guys! We'll see you again!"
- "YES, I AM SO TIRED."
He methodically gave us a timeline of his life. He and his
wife had been married 20 years. He was a Marine and had been
in two wars. For 7 years he worked internationally and was
away from home much of the time. Now he was working 18-hour
days and going to school. Two months ago, he asked his wife
about their relationship. He knew it was bad. When he asked
if she still wanted to stay with him, she walked away. Two
weeks ago, he found a notebook of hers which contained a letter
to a guy she'd been seeing the past few months.
He's never been so hurt in his life, he said. But he understands
why-he was absent and they never had time together. They quit
communicating. He said the first 12 years were the greatest.
Everyone envied them. He wants more than anything to be the
man she married and for their marriage to be restored. He
says he woke up two days earlier a changed man. His wife isn't
so sure but she broke up with the other man and is taking
the next 30 days to focus on her feelings for her husband.
I asked him what makes him think he'll still be different
six months from now. He said he'd learned his lesson.
I asked him where Jesus was in their
marriage and in his life. He said, "He's definitely there."
I asked him if he'd ever prayed and asked Jesus into his heart.
He thought he had done that somewhere along the line in war.
I asked him if he'd ever seen the picture of Jesus knocking
at the door and told him if he looked closely, he'd see that
there was no doorknob. I said, "You have to open the
door." He said, "I've never gone to that level."
I asked him if he'd like to and he said, "Yes, I would."
He cried and cried and said again, "Yes, I really would."
The Lord said to tell him, "I really love him and I commend
him for working so hard to take care of his family and to
provide and to be faithful." He cried even more when
he heard that; it seemed like it went to his very core.
I told him that God was asking him
to bring his family to Him and into His house to worship Him-"I
want your kids to know Me and your wife, too." He said,
"Yes, I will." As we prayed with him, I felt to
have him repeat after me, "Lord, I'm tired. I can't do
this on my own." When he did, he cried again and said,
"Yes, I am so tired." He surrendered his life, his
wife, his kids, his finances-from the heart. Then he received
the Holy Spirit.
As soon as he finished praying, he
gave us a huge grin and said he had this incredible faith
that his marriage would make it! And referring to the prayer
of salvation he had just prayed, he said, "I feel like
I'll be doing this with someone else." I said, "You
will be-your wife and kids!"
As he left, he said he'd be calling
us down the road because he wants us to meet his family. Then
he said, "I'll never forget you guys, and I'll never
forget this moment!"
