Emil had an eye appointment today and the doctor asked why he didn’t fill out his health history sheet. Emil explained that he isn’t on medication, doesn’t have any diseases, and doesn’t have a regular physician. The doctor was amazed and after examining Emil’s eyes declared that they are in perfect health which told him that Emil’s health is very good! Emil took the opportunity to tell him that he makes sure to stay free of unforgiveness and constantly releases stress to the Lord, two of the main things that lead to disease. The doctor said, “Wow, you really have life figured out. You’re right. There are people from way back in my life whom I need to forgive.” TY, Lord, for the way You orchestrate conversations to open people’s eyes to truth and life.
Well, the severe weather warnings prompted us to get down into the basement today and get it ready for any weather emergencies. We pray that the rain and thunderstorms come without accompanying hail and tornadoes this season. In the meantime, our motorcycle is in the shop getting repairs and ready for the minute we can get on the roadside!
Exponential and unconventional were two of the words we received last weekend. “You’re to keep being unconventional” and “you are going to experience exponential results.” The prophecy ended with, “Your life is a book and the book is getting better, and the plot is getting thicker!” There was lots in between that really encouraged us and gave us direction.
Finally we are getting snow! We’ve had such a very little this winter while north, south, and east of us have been hit with it. We welcome this moisture and love watching it. A winter wonderland at last!
God’s been speaking to me about validation. Your thoughts, feelings, experiences all matter to God. He cares about us and we are important to Him. If we allow God to validate us and we allow His words to validate us, then our emotions will come into alignment with our faith, but when we try to be validated by man, then our faith tries to come into alignment with our emotions. –Emil
God opened the door for us to rent a house just 1/2 block from our apartment! We will move the end of February. The thing we have loved most about the apartment is location–and what a blessing to be able to stay in this area! God is so awesome!
God called us to a short season of rest starting in mid-December and going through yesterday. Out of that time we heard directly and through others several words for the New Year including: Freedom, courage, harvest; God is lighting the fire again; God hasn’t forgotten His promises and He will bring them to pass; Emil had a vision of God’s bowls of prayers tipping and pouring over Storm Lake.
We had a wonderful time visiting with friends and donors at the coffee night in Gilbert, Arizona November 1st. Thank you to those who came out for it; we appreciated being able to share with you face-to-face. Without you and your encouragement, support and prayers, we couldn’t do what we do.
We had a wonderful few days in Arizona seeing family and many of our donors and then in California visiting family. We are back from the warm country and into the cold! 25 degrees and snowing this morning.
We will be at The Coffee Shop at Agritopia in Gilbert, AZ Friday night, November 1st, from 6-9pm. It would be awesome if ALL of our Arizona friends could stop by and have a cup with us!!!!
