Language Barrier No Problem for God

At our hotel in LA, we came down the elevator with a maid who had her arm in a sling. We asked her about it but she didn’t speak English. While we were eating breakfast, she came in. The Lord said, “Pray for her arm.” I said, “But Lord, she doesn’t speak English.” He said, “Pray for her arm.” I asked her if she’d like prayer and she motioned, “Wait a minute,” and got a co-worker who translated my question to which she answered, “YES!”  After praying, I asked if she could move her arm and she slowly raised it up and began to move it around and then with a huge grin, she nodded and said, “Si, si!” Yes, Yes! She gave me a hug and we left! Even though we are limited, God is not!

12-hour day

Yesterday was a 12-hour day  of almost non-stop appointments. We don’t normally schedule ministry like that, but once in a while it can’t be helped. The Lord is so awesome. These are HIS appointments, and He always does above and beyond anything that we–or the people receiving ministry–can imagine! And when we get tired and run out of steam, He lifts us up and fills us up for the next appointment!

Trailer in Shop

The trailer is getting new lights put on it. Took it in today and hopefully will get it out tomorrow. Had a busy Sunday and Monday plus a busy week ahead with face-to-face ministry appointments and calls. Looking forward to being on the road Thursday–looks good weather-wise, too! TY Lord!

Traveling

We’ve been in and out of town this month so haven’t kept up with our posts. Have prayed with several people, face-to-face and on the phone. Last night a lady diagnosed with neuropathy had great relief after prayer and ministry. The pain in her legs was gone and the numbness in her toes were gone! Thank You, Lord!

Good Friday Surrounded by God’s love

Attended the service last night at the Vineyard in Mason City where we worshiped and watched Heidi Baker’s amazing and inspiring Compelled by Love DVD.  Ended the evening with ministry and prophetic prayer. An incredible Good Friday evening with God’s love manifested through the people around us! Tired today! Didn’t get home till 2am. And did not get to sleep till 3am but well worth it!

“What is the enemy afraid of in you?”

That’s a question we frequently ask people coming for prayer ministry. We spent four hours this week with a believer who finally recognized what great attack she had been under for several years, all because the enemy had seen at one point in her life how powerful she could be and needed to put an end to that. Satan only comes to kill, steal and destroy, and his assignment against her was all of these things. When she saw that, she GOT MAD and got rid of him!

Meeting Saturday

We are meeting  Saturday morning with Steve Sampson who will be in town ministering at Faith Bible this weekend. We love what he says, “We’re seeking revelation, not information. Everywhere you look, information abounds, but we want to hear His voice!” Amen, Lord!

Mom’s Fears Allayed

A mom brought her child for prayer. He had been having chest pains periodically; she had mentioned it to her mom who told her there was a genetic tendency to heart problems and she should get him to the doctor right away. That filled the mom with so much fear, she didn’t know what to do but she had faith that God could heal anything that was wrong. As soon as we laid her hands on him, the Lord took Emil to the scripture in Revelations regarding end times, ‘When you see these signs, do not be afraid. It is the beginning of growing pains.” As soon as we finished praying to break the fear and the generational curse, he began running around and playing with no pain and the mom was filled with peace. The Bible says, “Seek first the Kingdom of God,” and that’s exactly what the mom did! God is GOOD and He loves children!

Incredible Ministry Session

Yesterday met with a woman who knew the Bible like the back of her hand and as the Lord revealed truth, she kept saying, “I know that verse! Why, after 30 years, do I finally understand what that means?!” We said, “Sometimes you have to first get rid of the lie before you can see the truth.” The Lord helped her realize she was born into some huge lies and she left free in the Lord, for the first time in her life! You are so good, God!
